  i'm sure you can buy pre-made kits, but i bought everything seperately and when it was on sale.  i used this site for like the asprins and other stuff:  http://www.minimus.biz/

  
  

  i pre-packed them in zip-loc bags that way when i got to Vegas all i had to do was dump them in the nice bags and walk them to the hotels.

  
  

  as far as having them in the rooms for the guests, most hotels charge $2-5 per bag.  i just dropped them at the front desk and had them note the reservations that there was a bag waiting for them.  i also sent everyone an email/text to make sure they pick up their bags.

  Good idea about noting or texting guests about getting bags from you so you don't have to pay the hotel fee. If we decide to make welcome bags, I may do the same

  I did a version of this...i wanted to do a "wedding weekend survival kit" as my favor for our out of town guests. i didn't want to go as extreme as welcome bags as it was just becoming way to expensive. all of a sudden i can't get italics to go away lol, anywho i am so happy with the result.

  i decided on chinese take out boxes (as i liked a nice neat little package and everything fit perfect). mostly everything off of amazon (bloody mary mix, mini tabasco, tylenol, pepto, wet ones, breathsavers, and emergen-c vitamin c drink), bought the smirnoff at liquor store in u.s.a. and energy bar from my FI work (got em cheap, heatlh food distributor). wrapped it up in wedding color ribbon and made some labels on vistaprint!
  
  i have made one of these for every guest (about 50) and will also have bottles of water at the insuite reception with matching labels. i just thought the idea of a "hangover-esque" kit would be kind of humorous but also i am sure alot of guests will be using the items inside.

  I'm doing something similar but I'm using old casino coin buckets as the "bag!" I like the website you shared. It'll make my job a lot easier!

  We also looked at websites that sell very cute little baskets at cheap prices - we found some for around $2 per basket - that could make for a cute arrangement.
  

  
  

  Something else we are going to include is a little map of "our favorite places" in Vegas... nearly 75% of our guests will be in from out of town so we are going to make little brochure type things with our favorite Vegas spots. There are so many things to do here we hope to narrow it down a little for our guests if we can. Our hotel also offers a free shuttle to the strip so it should make for a great weekend for everyone

  Did you order threw .com or .ca on amazon? Im canadian to n wanna pretty much do the same but cant find the mini Tabasco n bloody mary cans? What did you type in for the mini pks of the other stuff you have?
