  We are just doing cupcakes. We also have a small 6" cake for us to cut. I think just cupcakes is enough. We may also do chocolate covered strawberries.

  Are you having cupcakes instead of traditional cake?  If so, I think you should have at least enough for every person (with some extra) in the same fashion you would for a cake.  I would always have a slice of cake or a cupcake and then try a cookie or brownie or whatever.

  Thanks everyone! We have decided to get cupcakes for everyone. We are still unsure about the desserts later. My mom really thinks we need some special treats later, and I feel it is an unnecessary expense.
