I get to meet FI downtown after work to taste our food. I am excited! 

but on a side note I have not liked this week one bit.

    I found a florist last night that I think is a winner! 4th times the charm I guess. And no I am not some crazy picky flower person they are just that rude around here.

    I have no idea I want something with pasta. It just sounds delicious right now.
    I loved cake tasting! it makes me way excited for this!

    yay on finding a florist! I've had the hardest time finding a caterer for that reason. sometimes I am just shocked how mean people are.

    We are having chicken cordon blue and a pot roast that is one of the most phenominal things I have ever put in my mouth. I am a pasta/carb addict. If your appointment was anything like mine you definitely will not need dinner as they made enough food for 10 people. Let us know how it goes!!

    So I just got pricing back from florist #2 and they are $600 more than florist #1!! How can pricing be THAT different? I printed out the same pictures and asked for the exact same things. Just seems really odd to me. I hope florist #4 that I really liked is reasonable because I have really high hopes for her.

    My Grandpa's Partner is doing mine and that helps a ton. I already know his work too!
    but I really have no idea how it can be that different!

    oh that sounds amazing!
    I am starving now... and I have to wait till 4:30..

    I will for sure let you know how it goes! I miss everyone, where did we all go?

    I'm here, just a really busy work week.

    I loved my tasting, except for the BBQ style chicken that they put crazy strong jerk seasoning on! We've asked for a second tasting in July to confirm our exact menu.

    I had a sketchy caterer try to convince me to pay cash so he could stick to my budget. Sure, for my wedding I'll risk not having a contract and not having you show up, yeah right! He even said "You don't work for the government, do you?" Dear lord!

    Food tastings and flowers. Fun! I bought a new veil yesterday. I was planning on a birdcage veil and changed my mind and bought a traditional veil. Also I went out to dinner last night with my parents and brother and when we went to pay they said the next table had covered it. How awesome is that! It made up a bit for the bad news of my buyer backing out. See thread below for details.

    Angel I like the way you think. Maybe I should schedule a final food tasting just because I want to eat their food again haha. Did you make your final decision yet or still trying everything again in July?

    TLC that is sooo awesome about dinner. I love pay-it-forward stories like that!

    FI wants to try the new chicken and marinated steak that the caterer suggested, but I'm pretty sold on everything else. (baked potato bar, salads, grilled veggies) She suggested corn on the cob with flavoured butter, but I feel like that's a little too casual and not great for people in dress up clothes. We'll see what else she comes up with though, everything I've tasted has been awesome and she's really good with making it gluten free for me too!

     

    I'm going through a veil dilemma too, I bought a birdcage and tried and really don't like it. I've got a nice flower, so I'm debating on having a veil at all. Flower: http://www.etsy.com/listing/68958786/bridal-hair-accessory-light-cream?ref=usr_faveitems&atr_uid=22615998
