hi ladies! we're nearing the 6 month mark, so we've been kicking planning into high gear lately! i picked out my dress, my bridesmaids dresses and our cake all in the past two weeks and i wanted to share such big checks with everyone!
my dress! yay! i went to 6 different places before i found "the one". it's pronovias basauri. it will obviously have the sleeve on both sides when it's done
shout out to patricia souths bridal for being the best bridal dress store i went to (boca raton bridal on federal was a very close second!) with the sweetest helpers.
my bridesmaids dress! it's from alfred angelo. i'm getting it in their dark red color (claret) with the black sash.
our cake!! we're so in love with it. our wedding is going to have a 1920s vintage glam feel to it, so we went totally art deco with the cake. we had a cake credit with certain vendor from our venue contract and out of those we chose edible creations. her key lime flavor blew my FI away, so we're having two key lime layers with cream cheese filling and two amaretto layers. so excited to see it in person!
