Hi ladies!  So I read all the amazing reviews about Jessica for make up and totally wanted to book her until I got the pricing.  I was planning on paying for make up for my bridal party (7) as well as both mothers.  Bridal make up was $450??  Is that standard for Maui?  Bridesmaids were less- somewhere around $100 I believe.  Any input would be great!  Thanks

    Do you mean just the bride pricing was $450?  Jessica did my makeup in march and bride prices were no where near that number...I think you may have misunderstood the pricing if you are saying 450 just for the bride?

    On the price sheet I was sent it says 450 for make up package for the bride? I thought it seemed really high which is why I was so confused because I really wanted to use her

    Brides makeup and hair is normally around 150-250+. Depending on travel expenses, experience and how complicated/ long the hairstyle is.. Most stylists usually discount, if they include more people. $450 is way overpriced for just makeup.. Maybe its makeup/hair but even still that is alot. By the way you could go to MAC, and they could do your makeup there, as long as you purchase $40 in products.

    I too looked into Jessica's services for my wedding day and almost choked on my lunch when I  received the pricing sheet. Yes, if you want Jessica to do your makeup on your wedding day her base package starts at $450 (this does include air brush makeup and other things but still) and goes all the way up to $1200. I ended up contacting a hand full of hair and makeup artists on Maui. I found that generally speaking bridal hair and makeup will run you about $200 and bridesmaid services about $150. I ended up booking a bridal package for $350 that includes trials and some extras, and my girls hair and makeup will be $160 (each, could be less depending on their hair) for the day. Shop around, there are some (IMO) equally talented hair and makeup artists on Maui.

    Try Ry-n Shimabuku. I will be using him next month, and so far he has been great.

    Bride hair/makeup is around $200. Bridesmaids hair/makeup are $150-175ish.
