Apples vs. Pumpkins October Wedding

I am getting married in October and love the idea of using either apples or pumpkins for my centerpieces. I am having a hard time deciding on which one to pick or should I use both? The wedding is October 4th. Please help!!! Thank you

I would either do all apples or mostly apples with maybe a few pumpkins here and there, but that's really just my personal preference.

Apples, then you can tell people at the end of the night to take & enjoy. Not sure what you can do with all the pumpkins afterwards.

well what do you want the decorations to be like? a carved pumpkin in the middle of the table with apples around it? somethign else?

you also have about 5 months so you dont need to decide today. take your time and figure out what you really want.

I love cornucopias in the fall, so I'm all for using as many items as possible! Gourds, apples, pumpkins, grapes.... beautiful!

I am having a hard time picturing apples and pumpkin. Unless you are doing a fruit theme? I like an idea on of october wedding with pumpkins. There are lots of different sizes and colors you can work with.

You could use baby pumpkins instead of big ones. I know they come in orange and white. Then there are tons of different kinds of gourds. I think apples would be fine to use with both. I love Peles' idea with the cornucopia! Beautiful. You could always mix it up and have two different styles of centerpieces and do one with apples and one with pumpkins maybe? Don't know but just a suggestion

Agreed. I completely agree. You can even give away mini apple pies and apple-related things as favors.
