Hi ladies! I have never been to the Outer Banks but my best friend moved to Ocracoke and is getting married there in October. None of her family lives out there, just her FI's family. Her sister and I are co-MOH's and we were thinking of having a shower the week before the wedding and a bachelorette later that night as a lot of people will be in Ocracoke for that whole week anyway. Obviously I know nothing about the island, and I will certainly be looking for ideas from her one local bridesmaid, but does anyone have suggestions for a shower venue? I would love to host a brunch shower for probably about 20 ladies. I'm not sure of a budget yet as I really have no idea what things cost down there. Any ideas?
