First time poster, long time board stalker (for the last month). I am getting married in Vegas next year in April at Caesars Palace. I can't even remember the website I was on that suggested to come to the Vegas wedding boards on TheKnot, but it is the BEST thing I've ever done! LOL! This board so informative, positive and supportive. It has got me more excited than I thought I would ever be! Thanks to all you wonderful people that share your experiences. I plan on posting reviews after, but not much is going on right now. Just trying to lock down a reception dinner venue at Caesars. Thanks again! =)

    I feel the same way about this board. Was not at all excited about the thought of planning a wedding before I found this board. Have also posted to other boards on TK and none are as friendly or helpful as the group of ladies here.

    My date is April 19th, so I'll be there the weekend before you sunni96! What's your date missmo14? We're planning on having about 30 to 40 people come in from out of town so it should be a fun weekend. This board is my Las Vegas wedding consultant!

    It is fabulous, I'm so addicted. Right now its 7am here in the UK and its the first thing I do when I wake up! I don't feel I get asked about wedding plans etc as much as you would if you were having a wedding at home, people definitely seem to have a different opinion on it so its just nice to be able to talk about it and share in everyone's experiences.

    That's great Dawnish. We are having about the same amount of guests too! I started planning a local wedding and my local board was horrible. When we decided to move it to Vegas I was so excited to see how active and informative this board is. And, I'm with you spoon. I just woke up, got my coffee and here I am. Lol.

    I wish all of the local boards were this active and informative. I have a few friends getting married in various locations - big cities like Chicago and San Francisco, no less - and their boards get one post every couple of weeks or so. Most of the threads have been dead for a couple months, and they don't have vendor lists, reviews, etc. VG does an amazing job keeping this board active and updated, not to mention the website/database he created.
