Bummer.

So its been a week and a half since my second interview I still hadn't heard anything so I called today to follow up, looks like I didn't get a job. Bummed out but it just really irks me that after having to take 3 half days (1 for each interview and another for a day I was supposed to come in and they rescheduled last minute), and driving for the second one 2 hours away to a different office, they couldn't at least call me to let me know. So I'm trying to tell myself that everything happens for a reason and they handled things kind of rudely. Plus maybe it would have been hard adjusting to a new job, training, etc with a wedding so close. Blah.

  • Sorry, Rel. Don't get discouraged; the right job will come along!
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • That's too bad.  I usually have good feelings about getting jobs after so many interviews.  I also find it super rude when they don't call to let you know.  To me it's just common courtesy.

@Stagemanager14 - thanks for letting me know about the spell check built into my browser, but for the life of me I can't make it work!!

  • That sucks rel! They don't seem very organized (rescheduling last minute and not following up) which could've been very frustrating as an employee, as a possible bright side.
