Inexpensive venue

Hello searching for a ceremony/reception combo or ideas for inexpensive due to limited budget

Re: Inexpensive venue

  • Monterey Memory Gardens and the Old Whaling Station have beautiful gardens if you're looking for an outdoor venue. They are part of the Park System so they aren't too expenisve (roughly $1,500 for an 8 hour rental) and being in a garden setting definitely cuts your florist costs. That price is for venue only, catering and rentals are separate but you can decide who to use as caterer.
  • Michael's at Shoreline and Sunol Golf Course seemed to be pretty reasonable (compared to others) when I looked.
  • Check out some of the Presidio venues. You can rent some of the pretty park spaces at Golden Gate Park for about $300 (ceremony only) and then head over to the Log Cabin or a couple other venues in the Presidio. They have eight-hour rentals. An Affair to Remember offers affordable catering (about $25-30 per person) and do lots of weddings at the Presidio.
