Goodie Bag Ideas

We are making goodie bags for our hotel guests.  We want to include snacks that represent us as a couple.  Example; cheese crackers because we are from WI, ring pop because he popped the question, hershey kiss hugs, swedish fish because we met online on the website plenty of fish.  We want to use a snack that represents each of us but I am having troubles.  I am a teacher (I don't want apples because they might bruise) and he is a trailer mechanic.  Any ideas what we can use for a teacher or a trailer mechanic?

    What about dried apples or little boxes of apple juice? I'm sorry, when I think of teachers and food I think of apples. I wish I could be more help. Trailer mechanic... hmmm... I'm at a loss. What's the cool thing to eat around his job?

    When I think of teachers, the first items that come to mind are coffee, chocolate, and gum/mints. I also can't think of a lounge that didn't pop popcorn during the lunch hour.   When I saw trailer mechanic, my first instinct was trail mix.  We often (privately) use expressions such as, "These kids are going to drive me to drink", so I think of the liquor candy such as Bailey's, or those little bottles filled with alcohol.

    Go with the actual apple. I don't think they will bruise too badly on the trip to hotel and then in the guests' hands to the room. I was just at a wedding and there was an apple in the guest bag and it was a toal lifesaver as I had it for breakfast the morning of the wedding when I was running low on time. Also, if you only have candy in your bag (or other junk food) it's going to be hard for a single guest or couple to eat it all before they go home and they'll end up throwing it out, not taking it with them. If you're really worried about the actual apple I would do dried apple chips which are also healthy. Really, healthy is key.
