Last minute veil?

Hi ladies,

My wedding is in 12 days, and I now realize that I've taken on more projects than I can possibly finish...including attempting to make my own veil! Really dumb.

So it's time to accept the fact that I will either have no veil, or I need to find one that I can just buy off the rack. Any ideas on where to look? The bridal store where I bought my dress takes 3-4 months to get them in (and I didn't like any of theirs at all). I'm just looking for something extremely simple, sheer, no embellishments, raw edge, elbow or waist length.

Hobby lobby usually has some plain ones for about $20.

@danser55 I've never been there, do they sell veils off the rack?? That would be amazing!

I bought tulle and a comb to try to make one, but it is just too fluffy to mess with!

Michaels actually has veils for about $20 as well.

You could also try valuveil.com . A lot of people have had great luck with them. You might try emailing them to see if they can rush a delivery to you.

I'd call up different bridal shops. Normally you can buy from stock.

kwitherington's post reminded me, I have a tulle birdcage veil with pearls scattered on it, if you want that. I decided not to wear it, so it's just been sitting at home. Let me know if you want it.

I got mine off the rack at David's Bridal. They have just about everything there (clutches, tiaras, headpieces, veils, gloves, shoes, etc. etc.)

I know you said you don't have a lot of time for DIY but I made my fingertip, raw edge, one tier veil in about 30 minutes for $8. So you still have the option of making your own because it really does not take much time.

But if not, the other posters gave you great ideas and places to buy a ready to wear veil.
