Summer Clothes

I'm feeling very "one-hit wonder" when it comes to my wardrobe lately.  I have a couple casual tops that I wear, like 2 dresses, and a pair of shorts.  So, I think I'm going to do some shopping this week.  In preparation, tell me:

1. What's your staple summer outfit?
2. Favorite swim suit?
3. Least favorite summer trend?
4. Favorite summer trend?
5. Favorite summer shoes
6. And for good measure, give me a few links to awesome pieces you're lusting after right now.

    Oh god I have no fashion sense ... okay.

    1.) When it's actually summer, I like this:

    2.) I have a tankini top and a skirted bottom. I don't swim much, though.

    3.) Maxi dresses because I'm too short for them to fit properly.

    4.) All the crocheted pieces and the emerald green! This year rocks!

    5.) My favorite shoes ever right now:

    1. What's your staple summer outfit? For me its either a maxi dress or jean shorts and a tshirt. I either go dressy or casual 2. Favorite swim suit? For me, a tankini. 3. Least favorite summer trend I'm not feeling the emerald green trend since i don't look good in green. I'm also not a big fan of hi-lo dresses 4. Favorite summer trend? Honestly, I like the whole preppy New Englander trend since i don't have to buy new clothes. 5. Favorite summer shoes: flip flops 6. And for good measure, give me a few links to awesome pieces you're lusting after right now. Darnit I'm on mobile now but I'm lusting after a pair of Michael Kors wedges I saw in Macys. I might actually splurge this weekend and get them. Once I'm on the big computer I'll edit to post a picture. Also a few dresses I saw online I might purchase.

    I love a good summer dress.  Right now, this is my favorite:

    2. Favorite swim suit?

    I'm a bikini-wearer.  I don't know if I'm getting a new one this year or not.  It'll depend on where we go for vacation.

    3. Least favorite summer trend?
    Maxi-dresses.  They feel out of place to me.

    4. Favorite summer trend?
    I can't decide yet.

    I love wearing sun dresses! I could wear dresses every day and be extremely comfortable. This is something typical I would enjoy wearing:

    2. Favorite swim suit?
    I like strapless bikini tops the most. I don't have much luck in the chest area so when I wear the typical string bikini, I look awkward because of the mile long space b/w the girls. So with strapless, I actually look semi normal : )
    3. Least favorite summer trend?
    I'm not a huge fan of these really short dresses. They look cute on girls with no butts basically but I would probably be side-eyed if I wore one.
    4. Favorite summer trend?
    I love love love maxi dresses! I think they're gorgeous and I want more of them in my closet now.
    5. Favorite summer shoes
    I really love wedges! I think you can wear them with just about anything.

    I want this dress for my honeymoon! I think it's beautiful!

    1. What's your staple summer outfit?
    Sundresses!  They're cute and can be dressed up or down, plus they're really forgiving and super comfortable.

    2. Favorite swim suit?
    Hmmm...probably this blue tie-dye bikini I bought in Florida last summer.  I don't have any pictures of it though :(  I tend to shy away from color, so I like that it's a bright spot in my wardrobe.  Plus, its straps go straight back rather than being halter style, so it gives my neck a break from holding up the girls!

    3. Least favorite summer trend?
    Hi-lo dresses!  Not for me...

    4. Favorite summer trend?
    Maxi skirts--I'm too short for maxi dresses but I can make a maxi skirt work by wearing it a little higher or folding it under it at the top.

    5. Favorite summer shoes
    Definitely wedges.
