Lake Raystown or Stone Mill Inn

Has anyone been married at either of them? Does anyone have any suggestions or opinions on these sites. We are trying to narrow down some of our choices. I have yet to find the price for these venues. If you know them, let me know. Thanks.

I'm getting married at the Stone Mill in September and would highly recommend them. They have been great to work with and I've been told they are reasonably priced. I do have the price list from when we booked lasted September and I can give you that information if you would like. Just let me know. Also if you have any questions about them just ask I'll be more than happy to provide any information I can. It really is a beautiful place to get married. FI and I are excited for September!

Aww thanks so much. If you could, just email me the list hannahdoorn@yahoo.com. So far that's our number one choice but I'm all the way out in Texas right now so it's hard to plan without any details.

I think it depends on what your vision is. Stone Mill Inn is a very popular traditional place. It is beautiful with everything at your finger tips. Lake Raystown is such an amazing place in nature. It is a very unique nontraditional place .  The benefit to a place such as this, you can think completely outside of the box.  ( I am getting married at www.indiansteps.org therefore I am partial to Lake Raystown.)

Good luck with all of your planning!

I would recommend checking prices first- sometimes that will help you with your decision.  :)

We were married at the Stone Mill Inn in 2007. I can't say enough good things about the site and the coordinator, and our wedding really was perfect. There are pictures/video and details in my bio. I don't know anything about Lake Raystown, though, so I can't compare.

I am getting married at Lake Raystown Resort!  I think it is absolutely beautiful there! I have a pricing sheet they emailed me. I can forward it to you if you would like.  I'm getting married on a Friday instead of a Saturday and for a full ballroom it is saving me $3,000.
