Does anyone know the DB return policy...

...for slips? I'm thinking I need one for my gown, but I'm not sure which of two slips will work under it. I already own my dress; it's a family heirloom. Would they let me bring the dress in to try on slips?

I'm gonna go with 'not my circus, not my monkeys.'

Re: Does anyone know the DB return policy...

  • Davids bridal in my area is very lenient about bringing dresses in to try slips and accessoiries on however you should call the davids bridal before you bring your dress in. As for sales my receipt states all sales are final. They have slips for a-line dresses which are poofy all the way down and they have mermaid slips with and straight then poofy at the bottom. Instead of purchasing two slips call your davids brial and ask if you could bring your dress in to try the slips on.
  •  I agree that I'd probably call your DB first, and ask if you can bring your dress in to try on slips. Davids Bridal is usually pretty easy going, and would likely be fine. Clarifying that it's a family heirloom may also sway them to be cool with it. Especially when it's not like you just purchased it from a competitor. Also, the DB I dealt with said that I could make returns as long as the original tags were still attached, and I had my receipts. (Like if I were to lose some weight, and required a different size etc). I'm not sure if this is typical of 'all' DB's, but you could definitely ask. :) Good luck! I hope everything works out for you! :)

  • I may want to clarify that my dress was an "as is" dress so they dont allow returns on those that may be why my receipts say no returns.
