Vacation rental off Craigslist?

I was wondering if any of you have rented condos/homes off Craigslist with out seeing reviews and they aren't listed on VRBO on any sites like that. I'm not sure if that is normal or a red flag? It's a lot of money and would hate to be scammed.

I would not do it. They are probably illegal rentals anyway.

I would not recommend, especially if you're planning to have event there not all rentals allow you to have event on site

My husband and I rented the Banyan Tree Beach Estate in Hawaii Kai earlier this month for our wedding. It has 5 bedrooms and is right on the beach. We got married in the huge backyard and had our reception there as well. The house is on VBRO so if you haven't checked it out, you should.
