online rsvps

My fiance got an invite where the envelope only says his name.  When you go to rsvp it asks you if you are bringing a guest.  Was I invited?

Re: online rsvps

  • Not appropriately, but yes.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • hmm. Ok thanks!
  • If I were you I would call just to make sure. Since you're his SO, you should be, but I'd still double check.
  • How would one phrase this phone call?
  • FI: "Hi (invitation sender). Your invitations are lovely. Thank you for inviting me. When I went online to RSVP, the website asked me for the information for my guest. The envelope only had my name on it so I didn't want to fill out guest information if it's just me that's invited. Sorry for my confusion, but I certainly don't want to invite anyone else if that wasn't your intention."

  • Perfectly stated:
