Honeymoon recommendations in Mexico?

Hi everyone,

I just got in contact with a travel agent, but I wanted to get some ideas of all inclusive resorts that people would recommend.  I'm looking to spend about $4,000 (not including airfare).  Suggestions?

    That's a very good budget if it is not including airfare! Look into Excellence. We wanted to say there but couldn't afford it. Where we are going is Ocean Coral and Turquesa. Including airfare it is $1700 for 4 nights.

    ETA: I was wrong about my trip price--I thought we spent 2500 for 4 nights, but FI just told me it was actually 1700.

    If you like to snorkel, I highly recommend Cozumel.  I find the island & resorts so much nicer than the mainland.  I have stayed at Secrets Aura Cozumel at the adults only section.  Off of your patio, can dive right into the pool and swim through your private channel to the mail pool (with the bar). As with most all inclusives, the food is adequate (if you are a foody like me). The ocean is a few steps away and I found the staff to be very nice and entertaining.  

    Cozumel has amazing snorkeling and some diving.  I recommend taking a boat out to some of the best spots, and especially the starfish sandbar.
