Linens

Does anyone have recommendations for a linen company that doesn't charge a million dollars?

Re: Linens

  • I'm getting mine through Rita Gumbol.. She was recommended by my florist. I thought her prices were pretty good.. They were a little less expensive than my venue. I think she has an office at home. I haven't actually picked out my exact linens yet, but she was really nice when I met her.

I would check out Sposa Seating (http://www.sposaseating.com/), Chaircovers by Hana (http://www.chaircoversbyhana.com/), or Linens and Beyond (http://www.linensandbeyond.net). When looking into linens, be sure to find out if there is a install/removal fee. Sposa Seating doesn't have an additional charge. I'm not sure about the other two. I would mention to Hana that you found out about her on The Knot because she might give you a discount. Sposa books up pretty quickly. I actually ended up going with another vendor (Montage Linens - http://www.montagelinens.com), because I was looking for a certain kind of purple for my tablecloths. I'm paying $2.25 for a pillowcase chaircover & sash and then $13 per table linen with no install or removal fee. Her selection is rather limited, and she's not very good with communication. But I was recommended to her by another bride who loved how the linens turned out, so I am hopeful that things will turn out well!
  • I used A Moment Forever (amomentforever.net, I think). I didn't do much price shopping, but I used them for chiavari chairs and linens. The chiavari chairs were as cheap as they come - and in great shape. Linens were good too, and I appreciated not having to buy them and then figure out what to do with them after the fact.

  • I'm using sposa in October. Prices were very reasonable and so far very easy to work with

  • Thanks Ladies...Sposa does not have my colors left, but I will definitely check out the others...I just can't justify spending thousands of dollars on linens, when most people will only be at their table for about an hour...tops!!  Thanks again!
