Getting in Shape

Back from Vacation!

The FI and I went to Greenville, SC this weekend for a friends wedding.  Boy was it hard to stay on track!  We managed to get in a good workout at the hotel gym Friday morning and I got my steps in most days - but the food!  It was hard to stay within my calories.  It was a great weekend, but I'm happy to be home and looking forward to getting back on track.

What does everyone else do to stay on track during vacation?  I have few more weddings coming up this year and I need to do better when we travel.

  • I don't know that I try overly hard to stay "on track", but I do make sure that I still accurately track everything I eat (to the best of my ability) and I make an effort to get any activity I can.

    A vacation is a time to relax, so long as it doesn't put you down a destructive path and you're able to get back into your healthy routine upon your return, I wouldn't worry TOO much about it.
