Grooms Gift

Ok, I need ideas for my FH. I wanted to get him a nice watch but he just got one in January. Any ideas?

Re: Grooms Gift

  • I was going to do a Boudoir photo shoot but its expensive. Lol. I'm not sure what I'm going to get him now.
  • I also thought about getting a nice watch as a present, but I ran the idea by him and he decided on a new gun instead. :)

  • I just ordered my boudoir photobook the other day! I also got him cufflinks and a super cute card from etsy. I'm going to package it in a cute box with socks 'in case he gets cold feet', mini booze, gum...and I know what he reallly wants is a gopro camera to take on our honeymoon. I didn't really want to spend that much since the boudoir shoot was already so much money...we'll see.

  • I'm getting him a watch to replace the one that was lost/stolen last year.

Is he into any kind of cool memorabilia? For Christmas a couple years ago I got FI a ball signed by Nolan Ryan (his childhood hero). We're also huge baseball fans and it's something we do together.
  • I got him cufflinks and a groom's cake (which will be a surprise).

  • I did a boudoir book and a pair of starfish cufflinks from Tiffany's :)
  • I got him basset hound cuff links because our dog is like our baby. I wasn't even going to get him something but I think this will be a cute surprise for him. Then I'm going to write a letter to him because I vetoed us writing our own vows so I think this will be nice for him to read before the ceremony.

  • And ditto, boudoir shoots are expensive!! I wish I could swing it but I just can't.

  • I agree with everyone on the price of budoir photos! I thought about it but absolutely can't swing it right now. I'm still hanging onto it as a first year anniversary. It just happens to fit well with the paper gift theme.

Look for groupons for the bouidour shoots. My bridesmaids and I are doing a 3 hours session, with 3 scenes and 3 outfit changes. I got the groupon for 300$ and we get all of our photos on a DVD to take home. I had my photographer send all of the prints to her lab and made a book of them. We weren't going to do gifts for us, since we thought that the wedding and our honeymoon was a gift. But I found a timeshare on the exact condo that we got engaged at, for the same week that we got engaged. So we did that as a little extra treat for ourselves!! Eta: formatting... Or not. The knot won't let me make paragraphs, sorry.
