Has anyone bought these for the guests at your outside wedding? If so, where did you find them in bulk?

Don't buy them for guests. Adult women know what type of shoes to wear.

It might be to your advantage to spread the information via word of mouth that the wedding and/or reception will take place on grass.

@rachel-elise they are little things you put on your heels to prevent sinking through the grass.

No.

Just let your wedding party and family wear shoes that they'll be comfortable wearing in grass. Problem solved.

I used to do a lot of salsa dancing and I bought a few to protect the heels on my shoes since they take a lot of impact. If there's a dancewear store near you they will most likely have them in different shapes depending on the heel.

Really? I think that it is perfectly appropriate. i am not necessarily indicating that my ceremony is in the grass. I found them in larger packs and i ordered

Darn phone! I ordered them in larger quantities on the shoe stoppers website. I think it is thoughtful... I understand it isn't every ones way of doing things but for me it was the right touch. I don't know why you would tell another bride no?

To prevent another bride from wasting her money on something that is unnecessary. Grown woman know how to dress themselves.

@brandoncarolv, I have personal experience with these "stoppers", and they generally don't work. They also do not fit every type of heel, slip off, and you will still sink into the ground when standing. Waste of money.

Not to mention they look absolutely ridiculous :-)

But listening to posters who have real life experience with a product is never a good idea, of course. :-)
