Does this venue kill my colors?

I've found my venue and I love it. It's Union Station in LA- a beautiful Mission Revival building from the 1930s. There's a great courtyard for ceremonies and the interior space is great for receptions. We have history there as we used to take the trains to see each other while we were dating.

There's just one down side...

The floors of my preferred reception room are red.

My palette was going to be coral, pink, yellow and gray. Will it be too bright for the muted spanish reds and yellows of the room?

  • Once you get all the tables in there plus all of your guests and the lighting is dimmed no one will even notice the floors.  Keep your color scheme as is.  To me when couples try to match the color scheme of the room or floor it just draws your eye even more to it.
