Ceremony music

I booked my ceremony at the Chapel of the Flowers and they included the traditional wedding music but my planner told me that I could choose my own song to be played during my ceremony (just one song) ... does anybody here choose a song? I would like to know what people are choosing. I thought about having the traditional bridal song at the beginning and at the end and I wanted to choose one for the candle ceremony ... does anybody here have any suggestion?

    We are selecting our music but haven't decided on the songs yet. We are not very traditional so I am looking into all different kinds of music. Whenever I think of a potential song, I write it down on a list I have to look back on later. Whenever I think of narrowing it down, I find another song I like... Tough decision

    I was a COF bride and chose my own music.

    Bridal party entrance: Come Away With Me (Norah Jones)
    Bride entrance: Only Time (Enya)
    Exit: Open Arms (Journey)

    We did not do the unity candle so there was not song for that.

    I loved that we got to select our own music.

    We used Ingrid Michaelson's version of Can't Help Falling in Love for myself and my MOH walking up the aisle, then we used Queen's You're my best friend for walking back down afterwards :)

    Ok I've just listened to that Ingrid Michaelson version (I'd never heard of her before) and I'm now going to go and listen to everything else she has ever recorded! That version is beautiful and her voice and tone are incredible. Love the use of Queen as well, I'm pretty sure we'll have The Beach Boys in there somewhere :)

    I'm glad you like her! she is amazing and that song, well, it was perfect for vegas obviously!! lol But her version is just beautiful and if your walk down the aisle is short, there are logical breaks.

    We also had her song "You and I" as the last song of the night - was perfect!

    It's 01:40am and I am still up drinking tea and listening to music on spotify. I blame you entirely for this :P (I've added Ingrid Michaelson to my music so I'm betting she's going to be getting a lot of airtime in my house).
