Re: Star Trek - PS3

  • Can't help you there.  My video game player abandoned me for a game of dungeons and dragons so I can't ask him right now. Sorry.

  • I play a lot of tabletop games with him.  We belong to a local tabletop group.  However I am just not a D&D fan.  I am actually kinda mad at him at the moment.  He bailed on our dinner plan and then completely forgot about me for the last four and half  hours.  So instead of sitting home moping I went for a long walk and because I am too nice for my own good, I walked to the game store and brought him coffee.  I am still mad.  I could have driven to Newark airport, flown to Florida and landed before he even knew I was gone.  I think I am being pouty and hormonal.  I don't care.  Knowing he bailed on our dinner plan he should have at least text me to make sure I am alive.
Had it been a normal game night I would have sat down and played too.  I could have used a few games of Munchkin, Guillotine or Alhumbra for relaxing.

  • And thanks Pele. I enjoy the nerd in both of us.

I'm not gonna lie, I wouldn't have been a big enough person to bring H coffee if he had treated me like that.  Nerds can be spacey men, but they generally make up for it by being sweet.

  • He usually is very sweet. He is actually quite amazing and I am very lucky. We are very well suited for one another.  He deals with me during my stupid moments of anger like this like a champ. I am uber hormonal at the moment. Bringing him coffee  gave me a chance to tell him how mad I am and be nice at the same time.
He can have far worse habits than playing D&D with a few friends.

  • That is a good plan. My cats would try and eat baby chicks if I had them lol
Usually he tries to make up for it by doing the dishes and things like that.  Tomorrow I am going to a taping of a show for the food network at my local medieval times.  He cant go because he agreed to babysit his niece and nephew.  I told him I am still going.  This is to make up for the previous D&D incident where I went with him and we were there till midnight despite the fact that I had to get up for work in the morning. I am usually not so tit for tat about these things but he is ok with it in this case.
