FI wouldn't let me change the channel so he could watch the Bruins. He promptly fell asleep. I tried to change the channel. He woke up long enough just to tell me to put it back. Double overtime....sleeps all the way through it.... They won... he's still sleeping.

And as I was typing this, my dog just caught a fly....wow. I'm impressed.

That's the worst. Happens all the time with boring movies. FI wants to watch The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, like, every Saturday night. And he falls asleep. And we get halfway through it before I'm actually able to turn it off without him yelling at me. We've watched the first half maybe 6 times.

I really want a Kings vs. Penguins cup but it will probably be Blackhawks vs. Bruins. Sigh.

I'd like to see Kings vs Bruins... Game 4 tonight. I have a feeling the Penguins will win it. I don't have enough faith in my team for a sweep.

Kings don't stand a freaking chance. As a raging Hawks fan, I'm a little biased but we're definitely the better team.

I am also afraid of the Bruins. NOT excited to play them.

Am realizing that we should have picked a later date. What if the Bruins make it to the finals next year too? There are no televisions at our reception site. What will I do?

(side note, much bigger Bruins fan than my fiance. He doesn't see the issue.)

devins that's what smartphones are for! I feel awful for doubting my team but I am so superstitious that I almost feel like doubting them is what made them sweep. I am excited for the matchup for the cup.

@Devinsberries - I'm having a similar issue. I live in Chicago and I was able to get tickets for games one and 7 of the final. FI and I are leaving next Friday to plan our destination wedding and won't be here for games 5-7. I am SO pissed. I tried to push our reservation back a week so we'd be home but it's the week of the 4th of July so hotels are WAY more expensive.

Our date isn't set yet, but I can tell you that it will be in July or August so hockey season will be long over and football season won't have started yet.
