How do I list my location properly?

Hello I need help!  We're working on our invitations this weekend and I have no idea how to properly list my location on the invitation and google has not been my friend, nor Martha or Emily!

Our wedding ceremony & reception will be at my cousins home...I just can't figure out the proper wording and making this more difficult is that her husband is a veterinarian and is technically Dr.

Any advice you could give would be appreciated, I just don't want to look like a clueless idiot on my invitations.

Thanks!

I'm assuming your question is how to put the address of your friend's home? The top of the invitation is pretty standard. If the ceremony is at their house, at the bottom just put At the Residence of Dr. and Mrs. John Doe with the street address and then city, state centered on lines two and three below. If its in the backyard, you could have four location lines with Garden on the first line. Hope this is what you are asking.
  • Yes that was what I was asking.  Thank you, I've been going round and round with my etiquitte friend about if we put Dr and Mrs. John Doe or if it is supposed to be At the Doe Residence.

    Thanks!
