How often do you "do the dirty"?

After years of being together, how does one keep their sex life alive and thriving? 

Do you try out new things (role playing, reenacting porn, weird kinky shit)?

Where's the craziest place you've ever had sex?

Have you ever found yourself in a sex rut? 

I promise im not an extreme pervert, just after years of being together, ive found my SO and I to be in some sort of a sex life rut.. aka doing the same thing every night, and I want to spice it up somehow.

    We've tried role playing (his parents get us a baby making box every year for Christmas with 'props' inside.. This year it had gladiator costume, a pirate outfit and a whip and feathers. That was fun but I never buy outfits or anything because they're off within seconds anyways

    At my grandmas house while house sitting for her, forgive me.

    Right now maybe once a week but that's cause I'm working like 60 hours a week and don't get home until its time for him to go to sleep. Usually about 3 times a week

    We try new things, buy new toys

    I dress up, but we don't really role play. I used to do affiliate marketing for porn sites, so I had unlimited access to it on the sites I promo'ed, so we definitely took ideas from that

    At this point I don't even know

    Yup, we went like 6 months without because of stress and other issues we eventually worked out

    Haha do the dirty is just a saying, doesnt mean sex is dirty it's like calling someone naughty when they're feeling horny. And no sex toys in the baby makin box just weird outfits and props.. Lol yes I was surprised when first getting it too especially opening it in front of everyone at their Christmas party but its a tradition now.

    How often do you "do the dirty"?
    It used to be around 3-5 times a week, but being on opposite schedules plus general life stress has really started to cut into sexy times so its more like once a week, sometimes even two weeks, unfortunately.  It sucks.

    After years of being together, how does one keep their sex life alive and thriving? 
    Always talking about it together.  We are really good at checking in and making sure we are on the same page as far as how our needs are being met.  Having open communication about it really helps.  Plus, general adoration for one another even when we are in a rut.  

    Do you try out new things (role playing, reenacting porn, weird kinky shit)?
      Not really, though I've been getting FI to explore a more sensual approach to sex, which seems to be new for him.   He tends to like it hard and heavy, but he seems to enjoy seeing how much better it is for me when we slowly work our way up to it.  Neither of us are into anything very kinky, though dirty talk is fun from time to time I've discovered, that's fairly new for me. 

    Where's the craziest place you've ever had sex?

    5 am, London, Bus stop shelter.  It was dirty.  In all ways. 

    Have you ever found yourself in a sex rut? 

    Frequently, being stressed out effects both of our sex drives quite a lot. Always manage to pull through it though.  It doesn't worry me, it just isn't fun.

    Honestly? Maybe once a week.  I don't want to answer any of the questions besides the craziest sex we ever had.

    We had sex on rollerblades.  Then when that got too hard, on the grass still wearing our rollerblades.  And it really got our blood pumping when the sprinklers started going off!  This was in college.
