Hi ladies, can I get your opinion on BM shoes please?

Hi ladies I am getting married in the fall and instead of doing different dresses my future husband and I decided on same dress style different color dresses, to go along with our fall theme.   But I am stuck as to what color shoes my BM can wear that is the same color and look good with these dresses. I don't care what style they wear shoe wise I just would like them to all be the same color.

What do you ladies think?  Thanks for your input!

Also I removed the silver pin that is shown.

    First, I would say that absolutely no one will notice your BMs shoes, especially since the dresses are long. Nearly all the Weddings I've been to have maids in short dresses and I still never noticed their shoes.

    That being said, I think nude would look best with any only of those dresses.

    Any neutral would probably be fine -- especially since shoes don't really show under long dresses.

    If they don't have silver details, I'd go with gold shoes or nude.

    Gold, silver or nude.  But really they could even wear black because no one will even see their feet.

    I know the dresses are long but every wedding I have ever been in we have always worn the same color and I like the idea of it.

    Let them wear whatever style shoes they want in black or silver.

    I always wear flats under a long bridesmaid dress...it's Heaven! ;-)

    No, I've never been in a wedding where the bride as bought the shoes.  It has always been part of the you buy the dress and shoes...

    I bought them all packages for a spa day to go to whenever they like, massage, medi, pedi (not to do for the wedding just when ever they all work hard and I think it was better then buying jewelry to wear for the wedding day) So I'm tapped out as far as money towards gifts for them.

    Black would be a shoe color everyone would already own.

    It's not special shoes though they can't wear whatever color they want but in the same color.  I dont think that is asking a ton... every single wedding I have ever been in long or short I have been told whatever color shoe but I could pick the style.

    Maybe it's a regional thing. I'm not sure.

    I would pick silver or gold. Or you could suggest silver shoes to them, but let them know that it's okay if they would prefer to wear a different shoe. You can leave it up to them and not worry about them all being the same colour.

    Any neutral including black would go with the dresses. However, unless you were planning on having the BMs hitch up their skirts as they walk down the aisle, I would phrase the request as, "I prefer color X, but if you don't have that wear what you already own," or I would poll them for what colors they already own. Shoes may be more reusable than BM dresses, but if they needed a particular pair they would already own them, so the "they can wear them again" argument is pretty weak.
