Cards to go with bridal party gifts

What sort of card does one give with the bridal party gifts?  Are Thank You cards OK, or should I find something else?

    I've never received a card with a bridal party gift.

    Sometimes the bride will write a note on anything ranging from notebook paper to custom stationery.

    A personal note would be best if you want to say a little something. Cards aren't very personal and this way you can write something special for each BM.

    I gave my girls Hallmark cards with their gifts and included a personal note.
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    I've always received a thank you card with something personal written inside. You are thanking them for being in your wedding so that is appropriate. Although, if you have nice stationary a note on that would be fine too I think.
