Do the Bridesmaids Dresses have to match the wedding colors? Or can they be something different?

They can be anything you want. They don't have to match anything, even each other.

Yay :-) My bridesmaids have fallen in love with this Navy Blue color, even though I originally wanted to put them in purple. But, even I think they all look gorgeous in it! So, I would really like them to have a dress that they love.

Something like that would be very pretty, but not quiet the green we were going for. We are putting a green accent in places (wedding cake, invitations, possibly aisle runner...) anywhere where we stick and Irish Claddagh in the wedding. So, that is also a complicated issue :-) but it my FI just gave me the biggest kiss when I told him I wanted to include it.

The bridesmaid dresses do not have to be in your wedding colours. I originally wanted my bridesmaids to wear chocolate brown dresses, but they fell in love with navy blue dresses when we went shopping and they both looked amazing in that colour so that was what we went with! The only good reason to make sure that they wear the wedding colour/s is if that is what the bride really wants. If you're flexible then there's no reason why other colours are off the table for the bridesmaids.
