    And no, we don't know where we will move to other than that it will be within an hour of a major airport and a Target.

    H and I were talking about what furniture we should sell, because the chances of us buying something with this much square footage are slim. But if we decide to dump any of the MCM stuff, it will be traveling with us and consigned when we arrive.  We would get pennies on the dollar in his town.

    Assuming they showed up on time they were here for almost an hour.  That is a good sign, right?

     

     Listing is up online in case anyone with my address wants to stalk me.  My house looks so clean in the pictures!  H was power washing the patio WHILE my brother was taking pics, so some pics have a dirty patio and some have a clean patio, but otherwise I'm thrilled with them.  Also, the description refers to LCD lighting rather than LED.  H said that I kept saying LCD when giving the tour to the realtor but he didn't want to correct me in case I got angry.  le sigh

    OF COURSE I LOOKED.

    1) you should take the playhouse with you.
    2) you have a ton of built ins!  jealous!
    3) man, that kitchen backsplash is nice. i want to touch it like it was someone's hair.
    4) a serious question: i noticed you have a standing shower with a curtain. do you get a lot of water splashing outside?
    we have a standing shower, and i hate the door -- it's only purpose is to collect water and then dump it on the floor when you open the shower to get out.
    so is the curtain better.

    The backsplash is Japanese tile, so it is used to unwanted hair touching.

    The shower doesn't get much splashing on the floor, but there is also a 6 inch lip and the curtain tucks inside, so no worries.  Also, I have only showered in that shower twice in the past 6 years, so that also helps.

    Also, the curtain rod is inside the shower (it's a narrow little metal thing that looks like it was custom to the shape of the shower), not just in the opening.  So if you are standing inside, the curtain extends a foot or so on either side beyond the door opening.

    Nothing can save that house. I don't care if Orla Kierly donated every product made to the cause, and MCM furniture spontaneously walked to that house to live there- it could not be saved.
