I got married on Friday! It was one heck of a whirlwind day, but it was so wonderful. H and the groomsmen set up the site and reception beautifully that morning, and for the most part things went smoothly.

The only thing that made me have a somewhat freakout was my hair appointment. My appointment was at 11:30 with my mom's directly following mine. Well, they didn't take me in until 12:30 and then decided to squeeze a person in between  my mom and I for "quick highlights." We didn't finish until almost 2pm and my photographer wanted to get moving at 2:30pm. So we ended up late for a few things and he didn't get all the shots he wanted. But we were at least on time for the actual wedding :P

The food was fabulous and my grandpa was able to officiate, just as I had always wanted for as long as I can remember. And we got to have a bit of fun with the ceremony by playing the "Victory fanfare" music from Final Fantasy 6 as our recession music.

My main advice to anyone about to get hitched on here though is DRINK WATER AND EAT REAL FOOD before the wedding. I was in such a rush I did neither of these things and I think it contributed to my feeling sick late in the night. Also, sleep! I barely did that either because I was fiddling with things til 3am. I was also overheated from dancing, and while my dress wasn't overly tight after all of that my stomach was sensitive and so didn't want to tolerate any pressure on it. Sooo...I might have thrown up at about 9:30 that night >_> But I felt OK after! :P And let me tell ya, puking in a wedding dress is both pitiful and hilarious. So yeah. Avoid that :P

Also for our first dance, H (I put FI at first!) had talked to the DJ about playing a joke where he played several silly songs "by accident" before getting our correct one. "I like Big Butts," "I Ran," by Flock of Seagulls, and also, "The Bad Touch," by the Bloodhound Gang. I was laughing really hard and apparently a fair amount of people thought it was for real, my sister included. Made me laugh even more :P

Now. Onto what you really want. Pics! Not terribly good ones, but teasers all the same :)
