So beyond thrilled it still feels surreal. My now fiancé and I were at church on Sunday and he kept staring at me throughout the sermon. I thought maybe he was just feeling "in love" it was just odd.
After church ended we started walking out to his car to go to lunch but then he wanted to go see something in the building. He led me up to the room where we first met over 2 years ago. We'd both joined a Soren Kierkegaard class and became friends. He led me to the very spot where I sat, and where he'd moved over to sit by me, and knelt down and asked me to be his wife. I would have never expected a Sunday/church proposal, it couldn't have been more perfect since I really just wanted to be surprised.
I've done lots of weddings for friends and I thought I wanted a long time to plan, but now that we're engaged we've set our date for Aug 24th of this year. It couldn't come soon enough!!
