Our wedding is an early September destination wedding in Maine. I would like to do edible favors, but the amount of time we have to cobble together the favors will be minimal. What I hope to find is an idea for an edible favor that is fine staying out at room temp, is yummy, and can be assembled or displayed in a short amount of time. The reception is kind of a luncheon-picnic theme as far as food goes.
I am at a loss for good ideas. Probably a good idea to avoid nuts. I am hesitant about chocolate and its penchant for getting melty. Thoughts?
Re: Creative Edible Favor Ideas
If the reception is outdoors, any edible favor could be questionable...chocolate or not.
If you're indoors, any favor would be fine. Chocolate/fudge covered oreos are my favorite.
Does it have to be homemade? Or could you arrange to purchase a local treat to have as a favor?
I will call around.
Thanks!!
An alternate idea is to get small bottles of local maple syrup. Or something made out of blueberries.
We had done cookies.
