FIs ex wife text him today and said "I heard you are getting married. I wish you and Julie all the best.... Oh wait that's my name, how ironic isnt it?" So random, yet so damn funny when he told me about it. For 3 years his ex would run into me and ask me how the sex was. I always blew her off bc I refused to ever stoop to her level, FI left her, she treated him like shit and he had enough so he left. he and I became room mates since we both needed the help (him figuring out how to stand in his own 2 feet and me with getting back on my feet, 3 kids and being very sick at the time). Over time things changed. I never gave into his ex, she wAsnt worth my time. But today it made me laugh. I know she was trying to get under his skin and I refused to let her get to us today. I told FI to text her back for me and say thank you so much for thinking of us and our happiness TOGETHER. we wish her all the best.
