First Brazilian Wax Next Week...Any Tips?

Hey ladies!  My first brazilian wax is scheduled for next week.  If you've had one before, do you have any tips for me?  What should I wear?  How long should the hair be?  If the hair is too long, will it hurt more?  How long does the whole process take?

    It doesn't matter what you wear, it's all coming off.

    Length - it won't hurt more if it's long but it might take longer and so you'll have longer duration pain.  I'd trim to 1/2" or so.

    Duration totally depends on your provider.  I've been to a spa where it's 30+ minutes and a wax shop where it's 15 door-to-door.

    Take a couple advil a few hours prior, and possibly a glass of wine.  Check all inhibitions at the door.

    Try not to do it a week before or after your period, if you have one. That makes it a little more painful. 

    It hurts for just a sec, but worth it. Good Luck!

    Oh and get a liquid after removal toner if they have any. It helps with in grown hair.

    Also get a body sscrub to prevent ingrown hairs afterwards. I've never had any problems doing this.

    Oh, and RELAX. It's really not a big deal. :)

    Take an advil or two beforehand definitely recommend European Wax Center. They did a great job for me and are everywhere they use hard wax which I would also recommend finding a salon that uses hard instead of soft wax, soft wax uses a cloth strip.
