Flowers: What was the price of your centerpieces and set up fee?

Currently, I am dealing with florists and I have been setting up appointments with a few. I was wondering what is an average cost of centerpieces and set up fee. A centerpiece more on the lines like this one...white/cream hydrengeas and orange tiger lilies and similar vase.

  • My centerpieces were tiny compared to the one you are going with.  In total, my entire florist bill, which included my bouquet, 3 bridesmaids, 3 boutonniere, 2 corsages, simple centerpieces, and simple ceremony flowers on the rows was a total of $1000 including set up and delivery.  We also only had 7 tables.  Sorry I wasn't much help! lol!

  • I was quoted in the range of $165-$250 each for tall centerpieces.
  • Who did you go with? I also have a small wedding and that was my budget for flowers....
    Thanks

  • I am paying around $180 per centerpiece from my florist plus 17% for set-up, delivery, strike and tax.

<div>We used Frank at Tulips a Florist in Fort Lauderdale.  Absolutely loved working with him.  So creative and reasonable with the price.</div><div>

  • Wow! That's a lot and I have about 13 or 14 tables...yikes! My main concern are the high ceilings of my venue. I could do small centerpieces but the space will look bare so I have to go with tall centerpieces. One of the florists I have contacted gave me a different idea for centerpieces which required less flowers than the balls, would give me the height I need for the centerpieces, and have a candle. I am highly considering her idea because it will look best with my theme (Spain-inspired), it would create a warm, intimate setting, and comes under budget.

<div>A friend is doing my flowers for a very reasonable price so I'm not much help but my opinion is that if you like it and it comes under budget GO for it! That $ can go to something else or back into your pocket. My favorite words my whole wedding planning time have been "under budget" :)</div>
