Hello everyone!
So, my parents divorced when I 7 and I had a sporadic relationship with my Father. That being said, I have always adored him, when I probably shouldn't have. I have decided that I will dance with my bio-dad, step-dad, and god-father throughout the night to songs that they chose. My bio-dad has been the hold out to pick a song. I have decided to pick one, but he is a Southern/Classic Rock guy and they those songs tend to be about leaving. In fact, I was thinking about Sweet Melissa, which he swears is what I was named after, but it has a line "but he won't stay without Melissa". I fear this may cause some difficult feelings. Any advice?
