Gamblers, please help! Casino lingo for escort cards

We're trying not to go too casino-y for the reception, but want to incorporate Vegas into the decor somehow.

And since we'll have 8-10 tables + a sweetheart table, we'll have each table sign be an oversized playing card (got a full pack on Amazon for $3.88!), and our escort cards will be folded-over playing cards (2 packs from the Dollar Store!), in which each person's card number will correspond with their table numbers, and our sweetheart table will prominently display our King and Queen cards. :)

We want to write little clever casino terms under peoples' names, so instead of "John Smith, Table 2" on a 2 card, it will say, "John Smith, Snake Eyes" or "John Smith, Deuces Wild," just for a little extra fun. However, we're at a loss for some of the table names. Here's what we have so far:

A - Ace in the Hole
2 - Deuces Wild, Snake eyes
3 - Magic Number
4 - Four of a Kind
5 - Five Card Stud
6 - Six on the Beach
7 - Lucky Number Seven
8 - Crazy Eights
9 - Cloud Nine
10 - Perfect 10
J - Jack of all Trades
Joker - Space Cowboy, Gangster of Love, Maurice (obviously this table will be family members)

Any suggestions, especially for the highlighted ones?

  • I'm equally unfamiliar with terms but what an awesome idea!! A really easy way to integrate Vegas into the celebration without being "Vegas-themed".

  • I know 6 is usually refered to as a bust card in bj. 3 is craps but usually called ace deuce by the stick men thats all I can think of

Craps is actually 2,3 or 12.  An ace deuce is specifically a three.

Craps has tons of great phrases and lingo but unfortunately it's mostly only going to be understood by craps players so probably wouldn't work well for this situation lol.

How confusing would that be: Table Ace, Table Deuce, Table Ace-Deuce!

You're right VG, I don't know the first thing about craps and I bet my guests don't either ... but that might make it more fun! I did a quick google search and discovered that NINE is called "Le Grand" in Baccarat, which is a game I know even less about, so that might be a fun addition anyway.
  • What can I say slots hate me so I spend lots of time at craps and black jack:) and Im not too good at either so I only know loser lingo not appropriate for a wedding
