Please share your teeth whitening experiences to get your teeth as pearly white as possible for the big day!

    I used the whitening trays. They worked pretty well

    In the past, I've had them whitened by the dentist which worked really well. It was trays made for my mouth, and then a gel that I used at home with the trays.

    I have also used Crest WhiteStrips (in varying kinds) as a touch up, and they work as well.

    No matter what you use, if you have sensitive teeth, you will feel it - at least in my experience.  It doesn't really "hurt" but it definitely has a "feeling."  You don't have to use any product twice a day as listed on the box - you can spread it out to once a day or every other. It will take a bit longer, but should have the same effects (and not make your teeth as sensitive).

    My dentist told me to add baking soda to my toothpaste once a week... seems to be working so far! You could try a few times a week too. Just make sure you rinse well afterwards; you don't want to leave baking soda on your teeth/gums. I have very sensitive teeth and gums, and this doesn't affect them like the strips or trays do (I've used both in the past).

    I was just as the dentist yesterday and he asked if I was planning on making an appt for teeth whitening. I said I wasn't sure. The dental hygienist told me when he left the room that he charges 400-500 dollars for the treatment and to use the crest 3d whitening kit. Does the same amount of whitening.
