Stationary/ Thank You Notes

I purchased some monogrammed note cards to use as my thank you notes after I got married. One set arrived with the incorrect letters on the monogram. I hate the thought of throwing them away, even if I do recycle them. Does anyone know of a place I could post them to see if anyone would want them? Like a freecycle type site but for wedding stuff? They are still in the original box, wrapped, just missing are the matching envelopes. The initials are mWm on the front. See picture attached. I'd be happy to mail them to someone if they could use them.

Why can't you return them? If the printer made a mistake, you shouldn't have to pay for them.

Otherwise, sorry, but this would be a tough thing to even give away.

Here's an idea...could you make photo cards out of them? i.e. glue a photo to the front to cover the monogram and use them as greeting cards?

  • It was my mistake in proofing, so I can't return them. Yeah, I guess I'll just suck it up and recycle them. :( The photo thing is a good idea but I usually make my own cards in photoshop vs. getting prints made these days.
  • Sometimes companies will give discounts on repeat orders if mistakes are made on your part.  It wouldn't hurt to inquire to see what they could do.
