Thirsty Thursday

I haven't done this in a long time.

Ask me anything. I will be in and out so if I don't reply right away, that is why.

Re: Thirsty Thursday

  • Favorite kind of bread?
    Cheese?
    Wine?
  • I cant really eat bread so that is out.

Cheese, all kinds of cheese! My favorites are spreads (port wine, Door County Cherry, and Jalapeno).

    Moscato and Reisling.

Moscato and Reisling are my favorite wines as well!!

  • @SewInLoveWithDMB- pretty much the only ones I drink. Reds give me heart burn.

  • I like some reds, but not all. FI usually gets reds for dinner (so then I order meat or sometimes even chicken, even though chicken goes well with white as well.) Really dry wines are not my favorite. But, I think I like all wine!

  • I've seen some pretty decent GF breads, have you ever tried any of them?

What got you started in running?

What got you started in running?

Nope, I really don't eat sandwiches and they are expensive.

I have always been a runner. My mom has pictures of me from as young as 5 running races. I did cross country and track in middle/high school. I was a varsity sprinter in freshman year, had a soccer injury, and then had to quit due to knee surgery. We got Maggie in 2010 and she is very energetic so I started taking her running. Well one mile wasn't enough for her so we kept increasing. My friend then talked me into 5ks, relays, 10ks etc and now we do all our races together.

  • What would you do if you won the lottery?

  • Pay off my debt and my mom's debt, invest, and get a new house. Not a mansion, but a nicer house, the way we want it, in the country.

  • Would you stop working?

  • Heck no! I'd get too bored. I may take a lot more vacation, but working doesn't bother me.

  • If you could legally adopt any animal as a pet (with no risk of it turning on you like those crazy white tigers did on their trainers), what would you adopt?

Same here! FI thinks i'm crazy, but I would get really bored too!

What I might do is start my own company and only work on events that I want to work on. Like birthday parties and stuff. I used to want to be a wedding planner... now, not so much.

A monkey. They are soooo cute. Or all the dogs I could have. I love puppy cuddles.

  • If you went back to school, what would you study?

That one is hard. I've considered nursing, but poop, blood, pee, and vomit do not do well with me. I wanted to be an Attorney when I was younger, but that deminished. Hmm. I have no idea. Im content. Maybe HR or Accounting, but I doubt it.

  • If you could get someone else to do a single household chore for you until 2015, what would it be?
  • Dishes. We don't have a dish washer so it all has to be done by hand. Grosses me out with things floating in the sink.
