Me, too. When FI saw the app on my phone, I was all:

FI: "You play The Sims?"
Me: *sheepishly* "Yes..."
FI: "That's kinda hot."

If you're a nerd, I'm a nerd. I just stole this and posted it on my Facebook wall!

A couple months into my relationship with FI, my brother gave me his Sim 2 game when he bought 3, and FI (then boyfriend) and I had so much fun playing it. We created Sims of ourselves and got little jobs and would go out on the little town hoping we'd meet, and then we did and started dating... and one day, the REAL me went to work and FI stayed home "sick" from school and when I got home, we were married with four children.

He still "gooses" me.

I've reached the Sim limit (you can only have 31).

Getting a smartphone was pretty much the worst thing that ever happened to my productivity.

Oh, I know better not to play it at work, which means I sometimes don't get much done the rest of the day. "Oh, sorry I didn't pick up the bedroom...the Druces' pool was getting FUNKY." FI may have to stage an intervention at some point.
