Maybe only Poli and apple can answer this, but I noticed that they both have old school bikes in their wedding pics. Is this a new trend or something? Or just coincidence?
I want some with my bike, but it is totally non vintage. Plus, it'd have to be a TTD session because chain grease is no joke.
I do think the trend is meant to be more whimsical and vintage, just like the photographs with the sun shining through the people so everyone is yellow and blurry. I associate those 2 trends.
I have a vintage travel theme so it fit in. I'm using the bike basket though as my card basket. I highly doubt we'll take any photos with it. Way to hard to ride it in what I'm wearing. Definitely trendy like the parasol or carnival things.
It's also one of the first songs I learned how to play on piano...
"Daisy, Daisy, give me you answer do. I'm half crazy all for the love of you, It won't be a stylish marriage, I can't afford a carriage. But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two"
I don't know, but Rick's mom has a 2 person bike that she said we could have, and I'm honestly tempted to take it, paint it yellow, and use it for the wedding. Bikes and picnics go together, right?

There would be nothing whimsical if I tried to get on a bike for a picture.

I'm not gonna lie, I want that in my engagement pictures.
It's so corny I'm ashamed of myself, but I want it.
