bridal boutique going out of business - private seamstress?

So I got a call yesterday from the owner of the boutique that I bought my dress from - they are going out of business.  The good news is that I will still get my dress from them, but here is my dilemma: the owner mentioned that she will still have her seamstress doing all of my alterations, but she mentioned she doesn't know how long she will be able to hold the dress for me after the shop closes, which I think might mean alterations will have to be done sooner than usual.  Another issue I have is that I won't have all of my fittings done in the cute boutique anymore... not sure where they would be held but obv not in the cute little shop I thought I would be returning to for all of that stuff.

Since there doesn't seem to be a huge advantage in using my bridal store's seamstress, I'm wondering if I should go with a private seamstress.  I would definitely want somebody who is experienced in working with bridal gowns, but was wondering if anyone here could make some recommendations?  Or if anyone has any advice on this in general, that would be really helpful!!

Thanks!!!

I'm using Valentinos in Twinsburg.  They have amazing reviews online and I've been to my first fitting and she was extremely helpful.

Denise Roberts does a great job with alts at a reasonable price. She used to own Julianne's Bridal but now just does alts in her Columbia Station workshop at home. She did my bridal gown and a BM dress for me. Love her work!
