Limo tour, presidential? Dinner after ceremony?

Hey y'all! I've been lurking here for a while but haven't posted. I am getting married in vegas at Vegas Weddings on July 29th. Originally it was just going to be me and my fiancé but then my mom really wanted to come and so did his brother. So now we have a party of five. I had not planned anything official for after the wedding because I didn't think anyone else would be there. I also didn't budget for it but I think I can swing something small. We have a 1 pm cermony and expect to be back at the hotel around 230 or 3 pm. Then I figured we'd have a late lunch/early dinner somewhere. Everyone is payimg for their own as this wasn't planned but I was hoping to find somewhere for about less than 40 a person that is laid back but where I won't feel silly in my dress. Any suggestions? I still feel a little bad not having anything planned so I was thinking maybe one of those strip tours because they are inexpensive (under three humdred). Anyone used presidental? They offer a tour for up to six ppl. Any other suggestions? Thanks ladies!

  • Congratulations, July is nearly here you must be excited :)  I don't have a lot of suggestions, I haven't been to Vegas yet, I've not booked anything yet and I'm not getting married 'til April 2015 so this may be the most useless post ever :D

From what I've gathered though, you don't have to worry about feeling out of place in your dress- on one of the wedding blogs (maybe little vegas wedding) I've seen couples having food at burger joints in all their wedding gear!
The limo tour sounds like a great idea, or you could see a show!
If you haven't already (which you probably have since you said you've been lurking) go check out Vegas grooms website, it's got links to reviews of loads of restaurants so you might find something useful there 'til someone more helpful than me comes along :)
  • You could try going to the Neon Museum. It is on my list of places to go when we are there. I looked into doing a group tour with some of my wedding guests but it is quite expensive for a large group. Because there is just a small group you could buy individual tickets and it wouldn't be too bad. Plus, it would probably provide you with some pretty cool pictures!
