Whats for dinner?

I'm supposed to be making DH calzones from 'Pioneer Woman's' cookbook. . .butttt I'm kind of not feeling the amount of meet that goes into those badboys. . . oh well. I like the preparation part!

Whats everyone else having / making?

We were lazy and stuck a hunk of pork in the crockpot and made bbq sauce, so we can have pulled pork when we get home.  I think we also plan on having fresh green beans (with garlic, koshersalt and paremsan cheese on top)...yummy but oh so unhealthy.

Edit -- Beka I forgot to mention that we made our first recipe out of the Rachel Ray cookbook (your secret santa gift!) this weekend.  We have been totally lazy cooks lately so we made ourselves do something new -- it was very good!!

Beka have you tried making the calzones with a meat substitute?  In the freezer section are bags of Morningstar brand "crumbles".  They're vegetarian and I substitute them for ground meat in a ton of stuff. They're delicious in a recipe like PW's calzones.

I use the Morningstar crumbles all the time.  They're awesome!

We had chicken tacos (with Morningstar Chik'n strips).  Delish.
