Theme: "Purple and Pearls"
My shower was this past Saturday! It was great! It was intimate with family and close friends. It was hosted by my Matron of Honor. I really liked it everything (decor, cake, games, etc) and I got some really great lingerie! The games were actually fun and interesting! We played two games. One games was about how much the guests knew FI and I. People were getting mad due to some of my answers 
The other where you could not say particular words like bride wedding or couple. Man, the were fighting over clothes pins when someone said one of the restricted words.
The cake was BREAKTAKING! My sisters outdid themselves. There were two favors. A box filled with Starbucks that was also a escort card. Then a personalized candy bar from my mom. On each bar, there was a different quote about Love. The cake was strawberry shortcake, my favorite. I got good gifts. Mainly lingerie in my favorite color, white .Food was great and everyone was very happy with it. Everyone loved my dress (THANK to Mari for helping me pick it out!!!). It even went with the theme, as it has pearl beading!
Only negatives were I was 45 mins late and my MOH was pissed. But I was told people didn't really start arriving until 120-130. So even though I was sorry for being late being on tine would have made me feel sad as I would came to only the shower committee. My mom also hated I wore my hair like that; she raised us to wear out hair down...But other than that, it went really well. I walked away feeling very loved.....
