Need help finding a venue in or around Sarasota, FL.

Hi! I am looking for a venue in or around Sarasota, FL. March or April 2014. I have no idea where to start. All I know is... No beach. Our budget is small, because we are paying for it ourselves. If anyone could help with any ideas or point us in some direction, I would be forever grateful!

I'm getting married at the Wilbanks House. This place is WELL off the beaten path of wedding venues but the costs are super low and you have an old Florida style mansion with a balcony and multiple levels of patios outside, a gorgeous pool with arbors all around, and it overlooks the bay. Indoors of the Wilbanks can seat about 70 and outdoors can hold up to 300. There's also an indoor pavilion that can be rented if it rains.

Any suggestions on venues in Lakeland, FL that isn't super expensive? The only place I've considered so far is the Terrace Hotel.

I'm getting married at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota in May. They have a pretty outside garden terrace for ceremonies... It's not on the beach, but it's by the water (the Hyatt is on the water) and has a tropical feel to it. They have a beautiful pool and waterfall where the cocktail hour will be and a huge ballroom. My rehearsal dinner will be at the Sarasota Garden Club (which is across the street) and is also very pretty.

If you are looking at St. Pete, try the Grand Plaza. We were going to book there ourselves, specifically because we practically could've paid for the entire thing ourselves (and its right on the water!)
